The Lounge & Dining Area

The lounge and dining area at Woodside is a very large open plan arrangement, featuring a wood burning stove, ample seating and includes a football table, games corner and small library. A second seating area is provided by the morning room/conservatory, accessed through double doors from the lounge. There is satelite TV, DVD, Stereo system and iPod dock in this area.

The house is heated by twin oil fired systems enabling summer morning and evening heating to the bathrooms. From this room, one is afforded superb views over the Derwent Valley.

There is ample seating around the dining table for the entire party of 16 in the spacious dining area, enhanced by the feature fireplace and wood stove. Spanish tiles and stripped pine gives both the lounge and dining areas a distintive Mediterranean feel.

Logs are supplied for the stove October to March.


There is a separate washroom in this area, with basin and WC, and a serving hatch to the terrace.
